Ring: Weaving Into Lightness (V&A Museum)
September 2019 | part of London Design Festival
Feature 8
During London Design Festival, I was asked to write a poem in response to Kengo Kuma’s installation at the Victoria and Albert Museum, the poem touched on how our identity and emotional disposition can be suspended and renewed when finding ourselves in structure of architecture. The use of material from the architect helped inspire me beyond the form, but the intention behind the use of materials. The potential of poetry and architecture is ever present, the Q&A between myself and Kengo Kuma here, further hinted the way the future of design may steer.
