[Works in Progress]

Ongoing explorations that fuse poetry, performance, architecture, and film—each an invitation to reconsider space, memory, and emotional design. These works are in development and open for dialogue, commissions, or curatorial partnerships.

  • Psychedelic Vernacular

This project explores how architectural design influences altered states of consciousness, drawing parallels to psychedelics’ ability to transform our perception of space. Through poetic narratives and abstract visuals, it questions how environments shape mental well-being and emotional growth. Challenging monotonous design, it envisions architecture as a tool for neuroplasticity and new emotional possibilities.

  • The Past’s Ventriloquy

Inspired by Edward Hopper’s Soir Bleu, this project explores how memory and history shape our present and future. Through poetry and abstract visuals, it examines the scars of loss and the emotional weight of past decisions. In a world where we often choose to lie about our wounds, this project explores the tension between the truths we bury and the memories we can’t escape.

  • Reggae: The Wright Revolution

This film blends reggae’s soul with architectural design, exploring how the space between things—whether in music or design—shapes connection, rebellion, and resilience. Through immersive soundscapes and visuals, it examines how distance can either divide or inspire unity. At its core, the film is a living installation, a call to action for creators to envision spaces that foster collective consciousness and healing.

  • Panopticon

This work draws a connection between Jeremy Bentham's prison system and the patriarchal self-consciousness that silences the experience of black male loneliness in London. Through a blend of performance and visual art, it explores how societal structures confine both the body and voice, questioning the systems that marginalize and suppress vulnerable truths. A meditation on surveillance, isolation, and the power of reclaiming testimony.

  • Serpents of Regret

This work reimagines Loïe Fuller’s Serpent Dance, exploring the beauty of regret blossoming into self-acceptance. Through a visceral performance, LionHeart intertwines poetry and movement, embracing flaws and transforming mistakes into resources. Drenched in sweat, this piece is a celebration of grace, growth, and the transformative power of forgiving oneself.
